Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our clinical team. The LMFT will provide direct clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy, and will play an integral role in developing and implementing treatment plans. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of adolescent development, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to adolescent residents.
- Conduct clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning.
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
- Facilitate family therapy sessions to strengthen support systems and improve family dynamics.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (psychiatrists, nurses, counselors, direct care staff).
- Document clinical work, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and staff training.
- Provide clinical guidance to associates and support staff when appropriate.
- Ensure ethical standards of practice and adherence to licensing and accreditation requirements.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
- Current California LMFT license (in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences).
- Experience providing therapy in a residential, inpatient, or adolescent mental health setting preferred.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-focused care).
- Strong crisis management and de-escalation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time and part-time positions available.
- Flexible scheduling, some evenings and weekends may be required.
