Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join our clinical team. The AMFT will work under the supervision of a licensed clinician and provide individual, family, and group therapy services to adolescents in our residential program. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with youth, trauma-informed, and committed to fostering positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in ongoing supervision to support professional growth and clinical development.
• Provide individual and group therapy to adolescent residents.
• Support family therapy sessions under supervision.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and contribute to treatment planning.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (psychiatrists, nurses, counselors, and program staff).
• Document progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
• Current California AMFT registration (Board of Behavioral Sciences).
• Strong understanding of CBT and DBT skill based therapeutic intervention.
• Experience working with adolescents, preferably in a residential or mental health setting.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to professional growth and willingness to receive supervision.

• Flexible scheduling: full-time and part-time shifts available
