POSITION SUMMARY:
Come join our Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) Team at IKRON Greater Seattle to serve the Eastside area! PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment) is a multi-disciplinary clinical team that provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to identified clients with severe and persistent mental illnesses. We are looking for an Outreach Mental Health Counselor to assist with new referrals, build community partnerships, and provide mental health treatment to clients as part of the clinical team.
JOB DUTIES:
- Coordinate new referrals and determine appropriateness for PACT services
- Develop relationships with community partners to better coordinate services for new referrals and market PACT services on the Eastside
- Depending on credentials, complete intake assessments in collaborate with the PACT Team Lead
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to a small caseload of clients
- Provide mental health assessments for new program clients
- Develop an individualized treatment plan in collaboration with each client
- Assist with case management such as assisting clients with completion of benefits paperwork or securing housing, monitoring of protective payee agreement, and connecting to community resources
- Monitor client symptoms and medication response
- Complete all required clinical documentation in a timely and client-centered manner
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in a human services field
Masters degree in a human services field, preferred
Current license in WA state as LMHC or LMHCA or LICSW or LICSWA , preferred
Two years relevant experience
Valid Washington Driver’s License, clean driving record, reliable transportation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
General skill in exercising independent judgment, tact, patience, and understanding; maintaining effective working relationships with clients, other staff, and the community
Must complete all in-service and external training requirements

Must have the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
Ability to use telephone, PC, fax machine, copy machine, and printer
SUPERVISION RECEIVED BY: PACT Team Lead or Clinical Director
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
