We are currently seeking a full-time Crisis Support Specialist II to provide direct care to clients, assist with assessments, and partner with admissions for client placement. You will develop Individualized Treatment Plans, provide direct treatment interventions to children, youth, and adults who are in a behavioral health crisis to intervene and stabilize behaviors and prevent hospitalization and loss of placement. You will also assist in coordinating on-call service, accepting referrals, coordinating response, and in conjunction with Admission staff ensuring service excellence within Community Based Services (CBS).Education and Experience Required: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or in Special Education. Must be licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Health Professionals as a Qualified Mental Health Professional Type (QMHP-A or QMHP-C). Must have relevant direct experience providing mental health services.
