Position Summary:

We are seeking a Clinical Therapist who is empathetic, skilled, and client-centered to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide individual, couples and family therapy to a diverse clientele, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and contribute to the supportive and collaborative culture of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide mental health services to individual, couples, family therapy sessions to clients across the lifespan.
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical, legal, and agency standards.
Collaborate with other clinicians and staff to ensure coordinated care.
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and continuing education as required.
Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based approaches in the mental health field.
Uphold client confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Active Illinois clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LCPC, LMFT). Candidates with an LPC or MSW pursuing licensure may be considered for associate roles.
Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience providing direct therapy is preferred.
Familiarity with evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed care).
Strong clinical judgment, cultural competence, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Comfort using electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Experience working with couples, families, children and diverse populations
Specialized experience in trauma, substance use, or family systems is a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) is highly valued but not required.
