Position Overview

Liberty Behavioral & Community Services, Inc. is a well-respected provider of services for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, committed to enhancing independence, inclusion, and personal growth for our clients. We are currently seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The Clinical Psychologist will provide psychological assessments, therapy, and consultation services to individuals across various settings, ensuring a comprehensive and client-centered approach to mental health care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes and client needs.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
Collaborate with other professionals, including behavior analysts, social workers, and medical staff, to ensure the holistic care of clients.
Monitor and document client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary.
Participate in staff meetings, supervision sessions, and continuing education opportunities to stay informed on best practices in the field.
Engage in community outreach and education efforts to promote mental health awareness and understanding.

Requirements

Qualifications

Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
Current and valid California state license to practice psychology (PsyD or equivalent).
Experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders or developmental disabilities is preferred.
Strong knowledge of psychological assessment techniques and therapeutic interventions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
Sensitivity to cultural and diversity issues in psychological practice.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements.
