Endicott College’s Counseling Center is seeking a Counselor to join their dedicated team of professionals. The Counselor provides an array of counseling services to a diverse student population at Endicott College. This is a full-time, 10-month position working from August 1 – May 31 annually. Responsibilities include:
- Providing short-term counseling to students seeking counseling services
- Participate in campus initiatives to educate students on counseling services
- Promoting inclusion by successfully engaging a diverse student population.
- Organize and complete multiple administrative activities of the Counseling Services department
- Remain current with professional development requirements
Qualifications include:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field or a related PhD/PsyD LICSW, LMHC, or Licensed PhD/PsyD preferred
- Possess at least three years of related experience
- Ability to engage a diverse student population in promoting equity and inclusion
- Ability to develop programming to address the needs of a diverse student population
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments within the College
- Prior experience as a part of a crisis on-call rotation preferred
- Prior experience counseling college students preferred, but not required
- Past experience working directly in a college counseling center preferred, but not required
- Some weekend and evening work required to help at college-wide events
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, COAST
