BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN

Intensive Behavioral Group Living Environment

Pay rate: $22.22 per hour



What You Will Do

Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Group Living Environment. Ensure all services, service coordination, advocacy, and modeling are recovery-oriented. Ensure the coordination, delivery, and documentation of evidence-based and trauma-informed clinical interventions with clinical supervision. Support Persons in developing skills across all areas of functioning, working towards personal goals to achieve greater independence and improved quality of life. Follow individualized positive behavior support plans and skill acquisition goals for all Persons served in the IBGLE. Ensure compliance with all Edinburg Center/ACCS policies, procedures, and all relevant licensing and certification requirements.



Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related human service field with one year of relevant experience working with adults with mental health and behavioral challenges, or an Associate's degree with at least two years of relevant experience, or at least three years of experience utilizing ABA principles in a therapeutic setting. Experience in residential settings and familiarity with ABA and Positive Behavior Supports preferred. Additional training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and related areas is preferred. Highly organized, proficient with Microsoft Office, and excellent in written and interpersonal communication. Valid MA driver’s license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation are required.
