Posting End Date: This position will be open until filled. At the discretion of the hiring department, this position posting may close once a sufficient number of qualified applications have been received.

Salary Range: $3,500 per course.

Hours: Part-time, fixed-term track, exempt.

Period of Appointment: January 16, 2025 - August 31, 2025.

Job Summary

Essential Functions

This position will teach a minimum of one undergraduate course each term, summer, fall and spring.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree.
  • Texas LPC or LPC-S.
  • Graduation from a CACREP accredited master’s degree of 48 or more hours.
  • Ability to teach in person courses.
  • This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UTSA and its infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post counseling masters degree experience counseling children who experienced abuse or domestic violence, counseling families that experienced domestic violence, and knowledge of Texas laws specific to mandated reporting of child abuse/endangerment.

Working Conditions

This position will be primarily located on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee’s responsibility.
