Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technicians (BTs) to support students in educational settings. This role involves working directly with students—either one-on-one or in classroom environments—to implement behavior support strategies and promote positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a BCBA
  • Provide direct support to students in 1:1 or classroom settings
  • Collect and document behavioral data
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions
  • Apply CPI techniques to manage and de-escalate behaviors
  • Ensure student safety and well-being

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • CPI certification (training provided)
  • Experience working with children or individuals with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
