Matrix Providers is hiring a Clinical Psychologist to join our team of talented professionals to conduct short-term behavioral interventions for patients within the Naval Branch Health Clinic, Primary Care, Saratoga Springs, NY

We strive to provide a framework of stability and structure for our valued Clinical Psychologists, where you will experience lower provider-to-patient ratios and fair, reliable schedules.

  • Setting: Primary Care Clinic - Outpatient
  • Role: Providing specialized care for Military Service Members and their families
  • Compensation: $150,000 - $170,000 annually.This is a salaried position.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
    • 40 hours per week
    • (No Nights, No Weekends, No on-call)

Clinical Psychologist Summary:

  • Conducting behavioral interventions for patients within the primary care clinic.
  • Collaborating closely with primary care providers to address behavioral health aspects of patient care.
  • Assessing and identifying patient needs for short-term psychological support.
  • Offering counseling and psychoeducation to individuals and groups.
  • Providing crisis intervention and support for patients in times of acute distress.

Clinical Psychologist Requirements:

  • Degree: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • Education: Graduate from an American Psychology Association-accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
  • Internship/Residency: Successful completion of an internship in psychology
    accredited by the American Psychological Association.
  • Experience: Possess two (2) years of clinical work experience as a full-time Clinical Psychologist within the preceding three (3) years.
  • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or the US Virgin Islands.
