Currently, we are recruiting Psychologists for long-term contracts at correctional facilities in the Soledad area. If you are a new grad or an experienced psychologist, we want to talk to you!
What you will be doing:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations of inmates to determine mental health status, risk factors, and treatment needs.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address various mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and anger management.
- Collaborate with other members of the correctional facility staff, including correctional officers, medical professionals, and social workers, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for inmates.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss inmate cases and coordinate care.
- Provide consultation to correctional staff regarding inmates’ mental health concerns and behavioural management strategies.
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records of all psychological services provided to inmates.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in correctional psychology to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health care services.
Salary/Rate Range: $162 to $170/hr

Benefits:
- Full or part-time schedules available.
- Monday to Friday with options for 8 or 10-hour durations.
- 6 months contracts with option for renewal.
