Looking for an energetic, creative, and adventurous person to work with School - Aged children. Experience in ABA Therapy is not required, however, some experience working with children is highly preferred**

Role Description
This is a part-time role for an ABA Therapist - Behavior Technician at Behavior Advocacy LLC. The ABA Therapist will work in families homes in Fallbrook, CA. Day-to-day tasks include providing direct one-on-one therapy, implementing behavior intervention plans, collecting data on client progress, and collaborating with a team of professionals to improve treatment outcomes.

Behavior Advocacy is seeking a part-time on-site role for an ABA Therapist located in Fallbrook, CA and surrounding areas. The ABA Therapist will work with clients with autism and other developmental disabilities primarily with School-Age Children ages 8-18 years old, to improve behaviors, social skills, and communication. The ABA Therapist will be responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans in which the supervising BCBA creates, collecting data, and collaborating with the clinical team. Feedback and support is frequent, so good communication skills are a requirement. Part-Time position may lead to full time. Applicant must have afternoon (afterschool availability).

Responsibilities
  • Collect Data while implementing the intervention
  • Complete Daily session notes and logs
  • Communicate with the Supervising BCBA
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans created by the Supervising BCBA
  • Build rapport and engage in a variety of activities with the client and their family (playing games, conversation activities, outside play, etc.)
Qualifications
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in ABA is NOT required.
  • Must possess exceptional communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changes in client needs and treatment plans
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and participate in physical play and activities
  • Prior experience in behavioral therapy and data collection is strongly preferred but not required
  • A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field is preferred but not required
