THIS IS AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR OPPORTUNITY

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling, with experience in various therapeutic modalities. This role involves providing high-quality patient care through individual counseling. The LCSW will work collaboratively with a diverse population, including individuals with PTSD and those experiencing mental health challenges. We work primarily with Veterans and EAP clients.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine treatment needs.

Provide psychotherapy using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and utilize EMR systems for record-keeping.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution; current LCSW licensure is required.

Proven experience in clinical counseling.

Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical records management.

Strong skills in crisis intervention, behavioral therapy, and patient care assessment.

Ability to conduct intake assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans based on individual patient needs.

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
