About Job

  • Seeking a part-time psychiatrist to provide mental health evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic interventions in an underserved community setting.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, monitor medication, and offer crisis intervention when needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Maintain licensure, stay current with psychiatric practices, and participate in professional development.
  • Ideal candidates have a MD or DO in Psychiatry, 3-5 years of experience, active NY license, and board certification or eligibility.
  • Skills include strong communication, cultural competence, and ability to manage multiple priorities; bilingual skills preferred.
