Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs and support eligibility for special education services.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop intervention strategies and individual education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed to promote student well-being and academic success.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to inform decision-making and support school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education laws, and counseling techniques.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage responsibilities within a contract, school-year timeframe.
