Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in providing therapeutic support to individuals facing various mental health challenges. This role requires expertise in psychotherapy, group therapy, and patient care, as well as familiarity with coding systems such as ICD-10 and ICD-9. The counselor will work closely with clients to develop tailored treatment plans and facilitate their journey towards improved mental health.
Duties
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address clients' emotional and psychological needs.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on assessments and client goals.
- Utilize evidence-based practices, including Applied Behavior Analysis, to support clients in achieving therapeutic objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and coding for insurance purposes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support for clients.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in addiction medicine and mental health practices.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed and ensure a safe environment for all clients.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance counseling skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Valid license as a Professional Counselor in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems.
- Experience in home community care settings is preferred.
- Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques, including group therapy and individual counseling.
- Familiarity with addiction medicine principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
