Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


This contract position requires a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students in an Austin, TX school setting. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive psychological services to assist student learning, emotional well-being, and behavioral development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs and eligibility for special education services.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and intervention services for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to student support strategies.
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and behavioral support within the school environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience conducting assessments and psychological evaluations in K-12 educational settings.
  • Strong understanding of special education law and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and families.
