VocoVision is seeking a licensed and experienced School Social Worker to join a dedicated team supporting a Michigan school district for the full 20252026 school year. This is a fully remote, full-time position serving students from Preschool through 12th Grade, with a focus on providing crucial social-emotional and mental health support.

Position Details

• Start Date: August 25, 2025

• End Date: June 2026

• Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 3:00 PM (Full-Time)

• Caseload: Capped at 60, typically maintained around 50 students

• Grade Levels: PreK12, with primary service focus on Grades 612

• Location: Fully remote (must be licensed in Michigan)

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct in-person and virtual social work services (teletherapy platform provided)

• Address social, emotional, and mental health needs of students

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions as specified in IEPs

• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement behavioral supports and monitor progress

• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with IEP service requirements

• Provide crisis support and intervention as needed

Requirements

• Active Michigan School Social Worker License

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

• Previous school-based experience - at least 2 years.

• Comfortable using virtual platforms for counseling and collaboration

• Strong communication and case management skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
