Valle Vista Health System is proud to be a teaching facility that supports local nursing students and other behavioral health professionals.For more information, please visit us atPosition SummaryThis is a unique opportunity for a therapist to provide intensive, long-term trauma treatment and other clinical modalities to a small caseload of female adolescents. The RTC Therapist is responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy for assigned patients, according to their individual needs. The RTC Therapist completes individual psychosocial assessments and assigns treatment objectives and goals accordingly. The RTC Therapist is responsible for completing clinical case presentations, when necessary, at court, Child and Family Team Meetings, and weekly treatment team meetings. The RTC Therapist works closely with the psychiatrist and other members of the interdisciplinary team, including the family, to assess progress and complete the discharge planning process. The RTC Therapist is responsible for providing clinical services in accordance with licensing requirements.Job Duties:

QualificationsJob Requirements:Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health fieldLicense: State licensed in social work or clinical related mental health field; LCSW, preferredExperience: Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family, individual and group therapy, case management, and crisis intervention, preferred.
