Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time, onsite position requires a licensed or approved School Psychologist to serve a K-12 school in Tecumseh, MI for the full school year under contract. The role involves delivering multidisciplinary assessments and supporting the educational and behavioral development of school-age children within a collaborative general education environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective intervention strategies
- Support behavioral and educational interventions aligned with curriculum goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
Qualifications:
- Full license, Temporary, or Full Approval by the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with school-age children in an educational setting
- Strong skills in multidisciplinary assessment techniques
- Solid knowledge of curriculum and behavioral support strategiesPreferred:
- Experience supporting Special Education students
