The State of Connecticut, Department of Children and Families (DCF) is accepting applications for one (1) full-time Advanced Clinical Social Worker (Durational) position, in Hartford, CT. Please Note: This position is durational with an anticipated end date of May 1st, 2026.

Position Highlights: PCN 146037

Durational | Anticipated End Date May 1st, 2026

Location: 250 Hamilton Street, Hartford, CT

Full-time | 1st shift | Hybrid | 37.5 hours per week

Monday - Friday | 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

In your role as a Durational Advanced Clinical Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to help us accomplish our mission by:

  • Provide substance use and mental health consultation to DCF Social Workers to ensure individualized and appropriate treatment for families and children;
  • Coordinate treatment and monitor progress to ensure the fulfillment of our mission;
  • Consult and collaborate with community partners to improve the delivery of services;
  • Provide support to DCF Social Workers both in the field and in professional meetings;
  • Provide referrals for services for DCF involved families, presenting with Substance misuse needs;
  • Performe related duties as required;
