Location: Warren County, NJ

Job Type/Status: Full Time

Salary: $62,000 annually

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive assessments of adolescents with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, involve family members whenever possible.
  • Develop individual treatment plans which are goal directed; involve family members whenever possible.
  • Provide individual, group and family counseling to adolescents with substance use disorders as well as co-occurring disorders.
  • Coordinate treatment and discharge planning with other CFS services.
  • Coordinate treatment planning and discharge planning with referral, collaborative and after-care service provider entities, and family members whenever possible.
  • Complete evaluations and treatment progress notes in accordance with agency policies.
  • Meet with supervisor on a regular basis. Complete reports to be submitted to supervisor on a timely basis.
  • Be familiar with community resources and assist clients with referrals as indicated. Connect clients with case management needs and resources.
  • Provide community-based education such as life skills, psychoeducation groups,
  • Participate in regularly scheduled program meetings and attends scheduled administrative/clinical meetings.
  • Take responsibility for professional development and meeting licensure requirements for maintaining credentials through attendance at relevant workshops and seminars.
  • Participate in center and program performance improvement activities.
  • Assist supervisor in program development.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School or higher degree in related human services field
  • Knowledge, training and application of evidence-based treatment
  • Knowledge and application in the area of family systems and Trauma Informed Care
