Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and a passion for helping individuals navigate their psychological challenges. This role involves providing therapeutic support to clients of various ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. The Psychologist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy sessions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide psychotherapy using various modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy and crisis intervention techniques.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions for diverse populations, including those with PTSD, autism, addiction issues, and disabilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in research activities related to behavioral health and contribute to continuous improvement of clinical practices.
- Supervise interns or junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support in clinical settings.
- Offer telehealth services to enhance accessibility for clients.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as a Psychologist.
- Experience working with children and families is preferred; school experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with psychological testing methods and intake procedures.
- Knowledge of geriatric and pediatric psychology is beneficial.
- Proficiency in crisis intervention strategies and managing acute psychiatric conditions.
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is desirable.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles, including addiction counseling and clinical counseling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70.00 per hour
