Behavior Technician ABA
Location: Ocean Psychological Services | Modesto, California

About the Role:
At Ocean Psychological Services, we are passionate about helping clients thrive through compassionate, high-quality ABA therapy. We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 support and implement individualized treatment plans. In this role, you’ll work closely with a supervising BCBA, make a direct impact on client growth, and be part of a team that values collaboration, professional development, and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy based on individualized client goals and treatment plans.
- Collect, document, and analyze data during sessions to monitor client progress and guide treatment decisions.
- Attend client team meetings, mandatory quarterly staff meetings, and professional development workshops.
- Create and utilize instructional materials to support therapy goals.
- Facilitate individual and small group social skills training sessions when appropriate.
- Maintain timely communication, including checking and responding to company emails on business days.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (preferred).
- Prior experience or strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques (preferred).
- Strong data collection, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively and respectfully with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Must be able to provide a minimum of 15 hours of weekly availability between 3:00 PM 8:00 PM (with flexibility to support weekend shifts if needed).
Please note: Inability to meet this availability requirement will result in ineligibility for the position.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and actively engage during therapy sessions.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds as needed to support client activities.
- Sufficient vision and hearing to monitor client safety and engagement.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Range: $22.00 $27.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
