We offer an excellent benefits package!3 weeks vacation * 12 days sick leave * 13 holidays* medical * dental* vision* life insurance * LTD * AD&D * pension * 403b * catastrophic & accident insUnder the general direction of the VS Program Director, the VS Intake Coordinator is responsible for client referrals, processing intakes and general clerical duties.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Answer all intake calls and act as the initial point of contact for the program.2. Contact clients referred by DSHS or other agencies, and refer to appropriate agencies.3. Assign clients to Volunteer Coordinator or to volunteer.4. Contact community, church groups, businesses, schools and other clubs and organizations to publicize VS.5. Send out information packets, give presentations, and answer routine questions concerning VS.6. Review volunteer applications.7. Do reference checks, process WSP background check and DOL driver record forms, and provide “welcome packets” to volunteers.8. Organize files for volunteers and clients, contact volunteers for service hours.9. Use computer to input data and prepare reports and billings.10. Coordinate transportation services, including Medicaid trips.11. Maintain forms and supplies.12. All employees are responsible for developing and safekeeping a workplace that values and supports a culturally diverse work environment.13. Other duties as may be reasonable assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (Qualifications which applicant must possess to be considered for position).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational and filing skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • Thorough understanding of available resources for clients.
  • Ability to work with people of diversity.
  • Computer literate in use of Outlook, Word, Excel, database software, and Internet
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office with multiple interruptions
  • Ability to use a multi-line phone system.
  • Applicant must successfully pass required background checks prior to an offer of employment.
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
  • Must have an acceptable driving record per CCS’ driving policy. (required to provide current driving abstract)
