- UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
- Coordinating the care and service of the patients, promoting quality care, effective utilization of resources, and assuming a leadership role with the interdisciplinary team to achieve desired goals and resource outcomes.
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of services and working collaboratively with all members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Provides therapeutic counseling for patients, families/significant others as well as members of the interdisciplinary team to enhance coping and functional skills.
- 1-3 years of acute care experience
