Job Summary
Responsible for providing clinical social work services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and co-occurring disorders including mental health issues, substance use disorders, and behavioral challenges. Conducts comprehensive psychosocial assessments, develops person-centered treatment plans, and provides individual, group, and family counseling.
Job Responsibilities
Key Areas of Responsibilit
- Conducts comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments for individuals with intellectual disabilities and co-occurring disorders to determine appropriate levels of care and support needs.
- Develops and implements person-centered treatment plans that address unique cognitive abilities, adaptive functioning, and co-occurring mental health or substance use disorders.
- Coordinates with interdisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and direct support professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Facilitates skill-building groups focused on social skills, emotional regulation, independent living skills, and healthy coping mechanisms.
- Monitors clients' progress toward treatment goals and modifies interventions as needed.
- Provides crisis intervention when needed and develops safety plans tailored to clients' cognitive abilities.
Requirements and Specifications
- Master's Degree required in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
- 5 years of clinical experience
- Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- At least 2 years working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
