We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in behavior analysis, applied behavior analysis (ABA), functional behavior assessments, and working with autism spectrum disorders. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Responsibilities

As a BCBA, you will be responsible for

  • Conducting comprehensive behavioral assessments and creating treatment plans based on the findings.
  • Implementing, supervising, and monitoring ABA therapy programs for clients with autism spectrum disorders.
  • Training and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other team members in the implementation of behavior intervention plans.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and family members to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Regularly reviewing and adjusting treatment plans and strategies based on client progress and data analysis.
  • Providing parent training and support to ensure consistency and generalization of skills across environments.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and services provided.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in behavior analysis and autism treatment.

Qualifications

Successful candidates for this role must possess the following qualifications

  • A Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field.
  • Current and valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a BCBA, preferably in the medical or healthcare industry.
  • Proven experience in conducting behavior assessments and developing and implementing ABA therapy programs.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups including children, families, and medical professionals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilize data to inform treatment plans.
  • Commitment to ethical standards and adherence to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
