Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals, particularly children, who have developmental disabilities and autism. You will implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, collect and analyze data to track progress, and collaborate with families and other professionals to enhance the quality of care provided.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Conduct patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
- Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to develop comprehensive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and intake forms, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and share insights on effective strategies.
- Stay current with best practices in behavioral health and special education.
Skills
- Proficient in behavioral therapy techniques and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to patient care.
- Knowledge of special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to conduct patient assessments and engage in diagnostic evaluations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
