Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Implement evidence-based strategies to promote positive behavior change in clients.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on data analysis.
- Provide training and support to families, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients with developmental disabilities.
- Advocate for client needs within educational and healthcare settings.
Skills
- Proficiency in applied behavior analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of patient care practices and behavioral health principles.
- Familiarity with special education processes and requirements.
- Ability to effectively manage medical records while ensuring confidentiality.
- Experience working with children in various settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
