Essential duties/Responsibilities (this is not an exhaustive list; other duties may be assigned):

  • Provide direct and indirect services to individuals in a manner consistent with rehabilitation and recovery principles.
  • Conduct ASAM assessments utilizing latest ASAM criteria, to include urinalyses testing.
  • Understand alcohol and drug assessment, treatment and service terminology and apply these concepts.
  • Implement skills development strategies and identify, implement, and coordinate the services and supports identified in an Individual Service Plan (ISP) for alcohol and/or drug clients.
  • Identify, implement, and coordinate the services/supports identified in an Individual Service Plan (ISP) for alcohol and/or drug clients.
  • Connect clients with community resources e.g. housing, food stamps, insurance, social security.
  • Advocate for benefits on behalf of client.
  • Provide a variety of life skills training to clientele.
  • Work collaboratively with treatment team.
  • Perform all administrative and fiscal duties required.
  • Participate in required on-going and specific training.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines, and remain calm and professional under pressure and stressful conditions.
  • Perform all work duties and activities in accordance with Lifeways’ policies, procedures, and safety practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Lifeways’, local, state, federal, and other applicable regulations, and standards.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social science, behavioral science, or closely related field
  • Two-years’ job related experience
    • OR a combination of education and experience
  • Valid CPR certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire
  • Valid CADC-R certification or ability to obtain CADC-R Certification within 90 days of hire
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Successful completion of background check
