Duties
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage scheduling to optimize clinic operations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide medical administrative support by assisting with insurance verification and billing processes.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their healthcare needs and follow-up procedures.
- Assist in the management of office supplies and equipment to ensure a well-functioning environment.
- Utilize medical terminology to accurately document patient interactions and clinical information.
- Collaborate with dental office staff to facilitate referrals and enhance patient care experiences.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
- Proficiency in office software applications is beneficial for managing administrative tasks effectively.
