Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and a passion for helping individuals navigate their emotional and psychological challenges. The candidate will have experience in various therapeutic modalities and a strong commitment to supporting clients with diverse needs. This role involves providing therapeutic support to clients dealing with various issues, including PTSD, MDD, GAD, and other mental health concerns. The Therapist will work in a private office setting, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote healing and well-being. This position is for Late afternoon/ evening hours and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Behavioral Therapy to facilitate client progress.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary to ensure client safety and well-being.
  • Manage case documentation and maintain accurate records of client interactions in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with supervisor to coordinate care and provide support for clients.
  • Support individuals with developmental disabilities by offering tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as LMHC or LMSW in the relevant state.
  • Experience in family therapy, individual therapy, play therapy, and couples counseling.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building rapport with clients.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality at all times.
  • Previous experience working with telehealth platforms is a plus.
