The Licensed Clinical Social Worker treats patients by utilizing a variety of modalities as a member of the multidisciplinary clinical treatment team. Also provides psychological/social interventions that support patients and families relating to behavioral health, levels of care, hospitalization, disease and illness and wellness and recovery.
Responsibilities
A day in the life of an Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:
- Provides a comprehensive assessment of a patient's psychosocial needs, develops treatment plans and treatment plan reviews based on findings and according to department policy.
- Provides effective behavioral health treatment and education to patients, whether including assessment or therapy (individual and/or group), and
