Compensation: $200,000 to $275,000 DOE

Our client, a respected and well-established social work agency serving the Coney Island community, is seeking an accomplished operational leader to serve as Chief Operating Officer. With several hundred employees and a diverse range of community programs, the organization is poised for transformative growth — and needs a COO who can implement best practices, streamline operations, and lead meaningful change.

What You’ll Do
Lead daily operations across multiple programs and support functions.
Evaluate current systems, processes, and structures, then design and implement best-in-class operational practices.
Partner closely with the CEO and executive team to drive strategic initiatives.
Improve efficiency, compliance, and scalability while upholding the agency’s mission-driven values.
Mentor, develop, and empower high-performing teams across the organization.
What You Bring
Proven success in streamlining operations and scaling organizations with several hundred employees.
Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, social services, or similarly complex operational environments (preferred).
Exceptional change management and leadership skills with the ability to inspire diverse teams.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
