About Job
- Experience working in a multicultural urban setting;
- Experience in the provision of clinical services to students who identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or PoC;
- Experience in the provision of outreach and consultation services to the university community, particularly for students who identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or PoC;
- Experience and clinical effectiveness in multicultural counseling approaches with ethnically and culturally diverse clients and communities;
- Knowledge and experience working with clinical issues common in a university setting (e.g. substance abuse, sexual assault, eating disorders, conflict resolution, individual/group conflict resolution, trauma debriefing, etc.);
- Clinical skills and experience in time-limited, short-term approaches, with a broad range of complex personal and interpersonal issues;
- Ability to establish effective working collaborations between individuals and groups representing different cultures, interest groups, and/or departments;
- Ability to provide effective consultation regarding a variety of psychological incident debriefing capabilities;
- Extensive experience making discerning judgments regarding complex legal and ethical issues;
- Experience in working with immigrant and international student populations; and
- Proficiency in a second language.
