Job Title: Social Worker (LMSW)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our team. The Social Worker will be responsible for providing support, counseling, and advocacy services to individuals, families, and communities in need. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work and a deep commitment to promoting social justice and equality.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for clients

2. Provide individual and group counseling services

3. Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources

4. Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services

5. Facilitate support groups and workshops

6. Provide crisis intervention and emergency services

7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records

8. Participate in case conferences and staff meetings

9. Stay current on social work best practices and ethical standards

10. Provide education and training to other staff members and community partners

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program

2. Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) certification

3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in social work or related field

4. Knowledge of social work principles, theories, and techniques

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

6. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations

7. Excellent organizational and time management skills

8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries

9. Proficiency in documentation and case management software

10. Commitment to social justice and advocacy
