Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and other professionals to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the causes of challenging behaviors.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and monitor progress.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Provide training and support to staff, families, and caregivers on behavior management strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with research and best practices in applied behavior analysis.
Experience
- A Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is mandatory.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and special education practices is advantageous.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and behavioral therapy techniques are essential.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
