About Job

LSI currently seeks a Social Worker to work within our clinical department as part of the On The Way Home (OTWH) we serve in the Davenport/Muscatine/Clinton area and surrounding counties (Scott, Muscatine, Cedar, Jackson and Clinton).

What You"ll Do

The programs we serve help to support client transition by empowering families, enhancing family relationships, and supporting academic engagement and success. These programs integrate three interventions: Home/Family, School, and homework support. Receive referrals from JCS officials, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Holidays. Respond(face-to-face) within 1 hour of referral with youth/family in the home, the office, or other safe neutral place. Provide direct services through use of assessment and diagnostic skills, curriculum-based skill teaching, crisis intervention, case management, and advocacy. Requires traveling by car to client's homes, an office, a community setting, or other neutral setting. Facilitate and attend family team meetings, as needed. Activities may occur during normal business hours, after hours, or on weekends. Share in on-call rotation (with incentive) to cover crisis and referral cell phone.

What You'll Need

A Bachelor's degree in Social Work OR a Human Services related field, plus one year full-time equivalent human service experience

How We'll Support You

On top of joining the best team around, you can also receive:

  • Comprehensive benefits
  • A flexible work schedule
  • A 401(k)
  • Generous paid time off
  • Health, dental, life, and vision insurance
  • Career-building opportunities
