Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral therapy and patient care, particularly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support to clients and their families. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques tailored to each client's unique requirements.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on data analysis.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care while fostering a supportive environment for clients with developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical documentation practices.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and the ability to develop effective behavioral therapy plans.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating patience and understanding in all interactions.
