Position Summary:
PsychAssociates is seeking Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our growing team. This in-person role involves providing psychotherapy to residents in skilled nursing facilities. We offer flexible scheduling options — full-time, part-time, or per diem — to fit your lifestyle and availability. Some tele-health work may be availible.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual psychotherapy to residents in skilled nursing facilities
• Conduct mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
• Collaborate with facility staff and family members to support residents’ care
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulations
• Participate in team meetings and continuing education as needed

Requirements:

• Active LMHC or LMFT license in New York State (required)
• Experience with geriatric populations or in long-term care settings (preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Commitment to ethical, culturally sensitive, and compassionate care
• Spanish Speaking candiates are strongly encouraged to apply
