Job Title: Behavior Technician (BT)
Pay Rate: BT: $23-$26/hr
Location: Various Schools in and around Oceanside
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technicians (BT) to join our team. The BT will work in school settings, either in a 1:1 assignment with a student or within a classroom environment. The ideal candidates will receive training CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) and supervision from our internal Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Behavior Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification (training provided)
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Behavior Technician Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA.
- Provide direct 1:1 or classroom-based support to students.
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
- Utilize CPI techniques to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviors.
