South Carolina Youth Advocate Program (SCYAP) is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Clinician to support the needs of children and adolescents in both the school and clinic setting. This dual-role position is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to expand their skills and impact. A commitment to work 30-40 hours a week in a fee for service model is required.

What SCYAP asks of you:

· Experience working with trauma treatment and a positive attitude and dedication to working with at-risk population

· Desire to work in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent clinical judgement with willingness and desire to work collaboratively with treatment team

· High energy, motivated individuals with strong work ethic and ability to work independently

· Maintain current, legible and adequate documentation for client’s chart. Assures that all required client documentation submitted timely.

What SCYAP requires of you:

· Master’s degree in human services field

· Experience in mental health, counseling or working with youth and families

· Licensed by the state of South Carolina as one of the following:

  • LMSW
  • LISW
  • LPC/LPC-A
  • LMFT/LMFT-A

· Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation with required registration and insurance
