Full-Time School Social Worker (K–5)
Location: Monroe County
Our parter school in Monroe County is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time role will serve two welcoming school buildings—one focused on K–1 students and the other for 2nd–5th graders—providing social-emotional and mental health support to our learners.
We are seeking a school social worker looking to make an immediate and meaningful impact. You’ll collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to help students thrive both academically and personally.
Highlights of the Role:

Serve students in two close-knit elementary buildings (K–1 and 2nd–5th)

Provide direct social-emotional support, interventions, and crisis response

Partner with staff and families to develop strategies for student success

Be a key member of the district’s mental health support team

Responsibilities:
- Provide effective social work services to support students.
- Support and service in classroom groups.
- Help with screening students.
- Provide strong and effective social work services and support.
- Deliver emotional support strategies to students.
- Establish strong and healthy relationships with both students and parents/guardians.
- Educate parents/guardians on intervention strategies.
- Connect students and families with community mental health organizations if necessary.
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- Must possess S310 form- Approval to work in MI schools
- Previous school social work experience is preferred.
