Essential Responsibilities and Job Duties

Provide adult individual and group counseling for in-shelter and walk-in clients
Provide clients with case management services
Assist with advocacy services and crisis intervention
Facilitate professional training & public education
Represent the agency on committees and taskforces
Promote the program to build public and institutional awareness and utilization
Participate in on-call rotation
Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation
Other duties that support the mission of QUANADA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling or related field
At least two years’ experience in a human services field
Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
Passion and alignment with QUANADA’s mission and values
Willingness to commit to a self-care plan to mitigate harm from vicarious trauma
Achievement of IL Certified DV Professional standing within 2 years of hire
