We are currently hiring in_ Whittier, CA, and nearby communities within the Los Angeles region, including Rowland Heights, El Monte, Monterey Park, Los Angeles, East Los Angeles, La Mirada, Norwalk, Santa Fe Springs, Montebello_, and more.

Applicants must be willing to drive within a 15-mile radius of their home zip code to provide in-home services.What You’ll Do as a Behavior Technician

You’ll work one-on-one with children using play-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy techniques to help them learn and grow. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting social skills like sharing and cooperative play
  • Encouraging communication through fun, interactive activities
  • Teaching emotional regulation and coping strategies
  • Promoting positive behavior using reinforcement techniques
  • Guiding motor skill development through structured play
  • Enhancing problem-solving and thinking skills
  • Encouraging independence with daily living skills and routines

No ABA experience required. Paid, in-person training provided!

Requirements

Education:

  • Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Availability:

  • Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Possible Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • Full availability for two weeks of paid, in-person training

(Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)

Transportation:

  • Reliable transportation (required)
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and car insurance (required)

Technology:

  • Comfortable using a personal device for data entry (technology stipend provided)

Experience (preferred but not required):

  • Working with children (e.g., school, daycare, after-school programs)
  • Background in Psychology, Child Development, Social Work, or related fields

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to kneel, run, move quickly, and lift up to 35 lbs
