Qualifications:
Required:
- Master's degree or higher
- 1 plus years of Utilization Review experience
- 1 plus years of Social Work experience
- Any of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Mexico (NM)
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in New Mexico (NM)
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New Mexico (NM)
- Any of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHC) in New Mexico (NM)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA)
- Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in New Mexico (NM)
Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the orientation, training, and education of department members.
- Interview patients and families to gather relevant information.
- Act as a liaison between hospitalized patients, families, and community health agencies.
- Provide brief counseling services to patients and families.
- Maintain current information on community resources and financial benefits programs.
- Assist patients and families in post-discharge health care planning.
- Develop Policies & Procedures for specific Social Work needs.
