Private mental health practice in Gwinnett County seeking a licensed associate professional Counselor (LAPC). Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, a great team player, client-focused, possess great time management skills, and oriented to details. Must be able to work within a team environment and practice independently as required. Must be registered as an active LAPC in the state of Georgia to apply.
For those seeking licensure in Georgia, this position will include up to 5 hours of clinical supervision from a licensed CPCS at no additional cost.
Up to $89,000 annually
0-5 years of clinical experience
Must have an active and unrestricted license of LPC in the state of Georgia
The position is contract-based (W-9)
All sessions will be conducted in-office
Candidates must meet the following criteria;
Experienced with developing Behavioral Health Assessments, Treatment Plans, and Verified Diagnosis
Possess effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Great interpersonal skills, empathy, and compassion for clients
Experience with working with children, preteens, teens, and adults
Additional criteria;
-Must carry professional liability insurance of 1,000,000/3,000,000
-CAQH number
-NPI number
-Teletherapy/Virtual Therapy certification
-First Aid/CPR certification
-Valid Driver's License
-MUST BE ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS A BACKGROUND AND DRUG SCREENING

Credentialed with Aetna and BCBS
