Summary

As a Counselor at Pyramid Healthcare, you will play a vital role in supporting clients on their journey to recovery. Located in various treatment centers across the United States, this position involves providing direct support and therapeutic interventions to help individuals overcome challenges related to addiction and mental health.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to clients through individual and group counseling sessions.
• Implement cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to facilitate client progress.
• Assess client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client interactions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Facilitate workshops or group activities that promote healing and recovery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in direct support or counseling roles within behavioral healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy practices is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
